I started in physical therapy. Eight months at Sahel General Hospital. It paid. It just wasn’t mine.

Every day I’d help people get better, and every night I’d go home and build things on a screen until 2am, not because I had to, but because I couldn’t stop. At some point the truth got hard to ignore: the thing I did relentlessly was the thing I should be doing for a living.

So, I rebuilt my career from scratch. I took courses, read books, and took freelance projects to fortify my skills.

Now, I’ve been a developer at Born Interactive in Beirut for almost 3 years, where I bridge design and engineering, the two halves most people treat as separate. To me they’re the same job and that’s the beauty of it.

I specialize in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, building interfaces that look intentional and hold up under real load. I care about the details no one notices until they’re gone: the timing of an animation, the focus state on a button, the layout that doesn’t flinch on a bad connection…

I’m still that guy building things at 2am. The difference is now it’s my life, and I wouldn’t trade it.
